Export Your Contacts or Lists

After you've collected or imported your contacts in MailExpress, you may want to export those contacts or list into a csv file. You can export an entire list or a segment.

Export a List

In the Lists view, you can directly export the whole list by click the Export icon under Actions column.

Or you can get into the list that you want to export and click on the three-dot icon in the upper-right hand corner and you will see a drop-down list, and click Export.

Export file contains all your contact emails, custom fields, cid, status, sign up date, latest open date.

Export a Segment

If you want to export only part of the list, you can create a segment which matches your filter criteria. For example, a segment that show Gmail users.

After the segment is ready, select the segment in the list, then click on the three-dot icon in the upper-right hand corner and click Export.

System will export that segment into a csv file, and contains your contact emails, custom fields, cid, status, sign up date, latest open date.

By using segmentation, you can combine all different kinds of rules to export the contacts that you want to have, such as active contacts (openers, clickers), unsubscribed contacts, latest signed up contacts etc.
